Alexis Sanchez scored twice and Theo Walcott once as Arsenal won three successive Premier League games for the first time since Christmas.
Sanchez also missed a penalty in between his two goals when his effort was saved by Eldin Jakupovic after Jake Livermore was sent off for a deliberate handball in the box.
The Chile star deflected home Alex Iwobi’s shot for his first and then scored when Walcott’s shot was saved by Jakupovic.

Granit Xhaka then added a late stunner to give the scoreline an extra gloss. Read five things learned here.
FT: Hull City 1-4 Arsenal
FULL-TIME: HULL CITY 1-4 ARSENAL
Comprehensive win for the Gunners at the KCOM Stadium today. Arsenal went ahead thanks to a goal from Alexis Sanchez, no Alexi Iwobi, oh we don’t know. Hull City’s hopes of getting something from the game were dashed when Jake Livermoore was sent off for a deliberate handball in the box. Sanchez missed the penalty but they didn’t stop Arsenal powering to victory.
Walcott made it two, before Snodgrass scored from the spot to pull one back for Hull City. Any nerves they might throw this away were soon squashed when Sanchez made it three and Xhaka scored a wonder goal to complete the route.
Three consecutive wins for the Gunners, Hull City brought back down to earth.
It was a tough first half for Arsenal, but Livermore's sending off made life comfortable for the Gunners and from then onwards they were in full control. Even when Snodgrass pulled a goal back from the penalty spot, it never looked as if their lead was in danger, and late goals from Sanchez and Xhaka wrapped up all three points for Arsene Wenger's men.
HULL CITY 1-4 ARSENAL
WHAT. A. GOAL. Second half substitute Granit Xhaka scores an absolute rocket for Arsenal.
The Swiss midfielder received the ball 30 yards from goal with nothing on so he decided to left fly and his shot flew in the top corner past Jakupovic.
That’s what £35 million buys you.
Game over.
FULL-TIME: HULL CITY 1-4 ARSENAL
Mbokani tries to break forward from the restart and does well to penetrate the Arsenal penalty area, but he fouls Monreal whilst doing so and gives away a free-kick before the referee brings an end to the game.
Clucas finds himself in a pocket of space 30 yards away from the Arsenal goal and decides to try and test Cech with an audacious long-range effort, but he fails to trouble the goalkeeper and ends up sending his strike comfortably over the top of the crossbar.
Assist Mohamed Naser Elsayed Elneny
GOAL! What a strike by Xhaka! The Hull defenders step off the midfielder and allow him to unleash a shot from 30 yards out, and it's a wonderful strike that swerves through the air before beating Jakupovic and flying into the top left-hand corner of the net. What a way to score your first goal for your new club!
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
Arsenal have made a late substitution, with Perez coming on to replace Walcott for the final few minutes of the game.
Hull push forward on a late attacking move as they desperately try to find a way back into the game at this late stage. Elmohamady gets himself into a good position before firing a low cross towards the near post, but Mbokani isn't able to meet it and Cech does well to cut out the danger.
HULL CITY 1-3 ARSENAL
Arsenal restore their two goal lead four minutes later. Sanchez put Walcott through and the England forward was denied by Jakupovic who raced off his line to make the block.
The loose ball fell for Sanchez who was quick to follow-up and the Chilean skipped past a defender before smashing the ball into the back of the net. No doubt who scored that one.
Another chance for Sanchez! Hull are sloppy in possession inside their own half of the pitch and give the ball to Sanchez in a dangerous area, but the Chilean is unable to beat Jakupovic with his 25-yard strike.

GOAL! Arsenal have restored their two-goal lead! Walcott breaks through the Hull back line before going one-on-one with Jakupovic, but the goalkeeper is able to deny the forward with a great save. The ball bounces out to Sanchez, however, and he skips past his marker quickly before firing a rocket of a shot into the back of the net to surely wrap up all three points for the Gunners.
It's all Arsenal as they desperately try to re-establish their two-goal lead. However, as has been the case for most of the afternoon, they struggle to find a way through Hull's resolute back line and a half-hearted attacking move fails to result in a chance on goal.
HULL CITY 1-2 ARSENAL
Petr Cech rushed off his line and didn’t get anywhere near ball as he clattered Hull City substitute Dieumerci Mbokani.
The referee pointed to the spot and gave Cech a yellow card after consultation with his assistant.
Robert Snodgrass stepped up and sent Cech the wrong way to give 10-man Hull City a lifeline.
Can they come back?
GOAL! Snodgrass steps up and fires a wonderful strike past Cech and into the top left-hand corner of the goal to get Hull back into the game. With just over 10 minutes left to play, can the hosts complete what would be a remarkable comeback?
Meanwhile, Mbokani has come on to replace Hernandez as the hosts desperately try to find a way back into the game.
Arsenal have made their second change of the game, and it's a defensive one, with Iwobi making way for Elneny.
PENALTY! Mbokani makes an immediate impact as he flies into the penalty area and latches on to a great pass forward from Mason, and just as he makes contact with the ball he's sent crashing to the ground by Cech, leaving the referee with no choice but to point to the spot.
What a miss by Walcott! Ozil and Walcott link up brilliant down the right wing before the latter breaks into the penalty area completely unmarked, but an awful cross-cum-shot from the Englishman sends the ball sailing comfortably over the top of the crossbar and out for a goal-kick. He really should have done better with that!
Iwobi is left in far too much space over on the left wing, allowing him to dart forward before cutting inside. He then picks out Ozil on the edge of the penalty area, but the German's first-time shot is quickly closed down and fails to hit the target.
