Everton are taking on Manchester United in the battle to sign Sheffield United’s teen talent Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Everton have revived their interest in the highly-rated midfielder after having an approach rebuffed earlier this summer.
United are also interested in Calvert-Lewin, who was left out of the Blades’ Checkatrade Trophy tie with Leicester City last night.
But Everton believe they can beat them to land the exciting prospect, who impressed on loan at Northampton last season, with a bid worth over £1million.
