Liverpool have reportedly rejected a £20million bid for Danny Ings - one of EIGHT approaches made for the England Under-21 international. That is according to ESPN, who say Jurgen Klopp is keen to retain the services of the former Burnley striker who is returning to full fitness after a long injury layoff.
Ings has only appeared for the Reds’ Under-23 side so far this season but the 24-year-old will play a part this term, insists Klopp.
“We’re counting on Ingsy. He is a fantastic boy,” Klopp said earlier this month. “He was injured since October last year and he needed time. Now he’s getting better and better.”
