Leicester City will make a £17million attempt to land Burnley defender Michael Keane this week, reports the Steve Bates for the Sunday People.
The 23-year-old former Manchester United star has so far rejected a near £30,000 a week new contract offer from Burnley and would like to join the Premier League champions.
But Burnley boss Sean Dyche has already rejected one inquiry from Leicester and is sticking to his £20million valuation of the star who has already made over 100 league starts.
Keane, brother of Old Trafford striker Will, United was a key performer playing all but two of Burnley’s Championship games as the Clarets won promotion back to the Premier League last season.
