Chelsea have offered American defender Matt Miazga to Sunderland on loan.
The USA international is well down the pecking order and could struggle to play regularly with the Blues.
The 21-year-old joined the New York Red Bulls in January in a £3.5m deal and could provide cover for David Moyes at the back.
