Manchester City have moved a step closer to signing Claudio Bravo from Barcelona in a £17.4million deal.
Barca’s capture of Ajax keeper Jasper Cillessen for £10m means they will now let Bravo move to England to become new Blues boss Pep Guardiola ’s No.1.
Spanish giants Barca were reluctant to let the Chilean leave until they had signed back-up for their first-choice Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who is recovering from injury.
