Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez has claimed that Chelsea and Napoli want to sign him - but has quickly moved to dash any hopes of either side bringing him back to Europe.
The former West Ham, Manchester City/United and Juventus striker spent nine years in Europe before he returned to Boca Juniors in 2015, but he now wants to see out his playing days on home soil.
“I’m fine at Boca,” the 32, year-old told Corriere dello Sport.
“Indeed my idea, my dream is to finish my career as a player in this wonderful club.
“Europe? Yes, it’s true Napoli and Chelsea seek me, but I repeat what I said before. My desire is to stay at Boca until I retire.”
West Ham had also been linked with a move for their former star.
