The acting Director-General, DG, NAFDAC, Yetunde Oni, affirmed the capture in an announcement and said: "NAFDAC appropriated 880 sacks x 25kg of Urea Formaldehyde Resin – a synthetic compound for assembling explosives, which was foreign by the Chinese man, Zhao Chum.
"The substance is currently in NAFDAC's stockroom. The executive of the organization, Zhao Chum, and his clearing operator, Christian Ohia, have been captured. The Ports Inspection Directorate of the organization got a tip-off that the substance, distinguished as Urea Formaldehyde Resin powder, was pirated in through the Lagos ocean port in two holders.
The holders were transported to Chum's organization in Omu Ijebu range of Ogun, from where agents of the office appropriated and conveyed them to the's office in Oshodi, Lagos state.
