Koffi Olomide was captured and ousted by police in Kenya on Saturday, July 23, subsequent to attacking one of his female artists at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
This was taking after a live TV meeting on Citizen TV where the footage of the asserted strike became the dominant focal point. Kenya's Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, purportedly gave the request that Olomide be captured, by Cable News.

In 2012 Olomide was captured in August 2012 for attacking his previous music maker, Diego Lubaki, and was given a three-month suspended jail sentence for the strike.
December that year, the performer was blamed for kicking an independent photograph writer, Jean Mandela, in the face amid a show in Zambia.
